Saturday was the Gothic and Lolita English Bible release party for Vol.3. It was hosted by Kamikaze Pop
in San Francisco.

It started at 4pm and  there was a fashion show at 6pm.
Tickets were $10 but free if you were part of KP club. Jaime was working till 4 but he said he would go with me. I got ready and told him I'd met him at the Metreon.

I got there around 4:30ish and I'm not going to lie but I thought the event was lame. They had said on the site:

• Designer Gothic and Lolita fashions on the runway
• Dress in your Gothic & Lolita finest
• Learn about G&L interests
• Enjoy tasty treats and refreshments!
• Oh, and so much more!
  

By the time I got there, the "tasty treats" were gone. I never saw what they were. They did have tea but they were in those containers that starbucks gives you when you order coffee for a big group. They had a table where you could decorate cookies and I guess they had a contest for the best cookies but I left before that. There was a girl set up selling things. She had a cute bracelet with Belle on it but it was $39 and I'm broke. There was a photographer from Tokyo Pop taking photos. I wonder if I'll get into the magazine. KPop had a set up where you could buy items from their kiosk. Jaime got there, give him a small tour of the area and we decided to get something to eat. We still had an hour before the fashion show.

We went to eat at the Japanese resturant downstairs. We headed back up and little after 6 for the fashion show which was called a fashion show case. The designer Gothic and Lolita that was model were from American Labels which I don't mind. I'm glad there are fans out there sewing there own stuff and selling it. I was hoping they would also have girls wearing outfits from Baby, the Star Shine Bright, Innocent World, Angelic Pretty, ETC. I don't think it would be hard to find girls willing to model their clothes. After the 4-5 models were done showing their stuff, the host had a Q&A.  They were really trying to get the girls to ask questions but I think they wanted Newbie questions. Jaime and I left after the third time she asked "any more questions? Can we get more questions?"

I'm glad we didn't pay 10 each. I would of been mad. I'm broke and 10 bucks could go a long way. I did see a lot of girls with awesome outifts though.

That's another Alice theme skirt I bought before I lost my job at Westfield. The girl was nice enough to let me do payments. It's called Alice in her dreamland. It's my favorite Alice print by far and Jaime likes it too.
